The Baby-Safe Infant Carrier is suitable for use from birth, so it can be used when you bring them home from the hospital, on their first ever car ride. It can be used with all the Britax pushchairs with the Click and Go feature, allowing you to move your baby between the car and pushchair without waking them--something you’ll soon come to appreciate. It is also approved for use on aircrafts, so however you choose to travel, your little one can come along too.
Deep, softly padded wings provide side impact protection
One out of four car accidents is a side collision and side collisions account for 20% of child fatalities, so it is vital to provide side protection for your child. The Baby-Safe infant carrier has deep, softly padded side wings which ensure your child is protected in the event of a side collision and provide extra comfort and support on every journey.
Five-point harness for a secure position
Britax advocates children remaining in a properly positioned five-point harness for as long as possible. The Baby-Safe has a harness with five attachment points: two at the shoulder, two at the hips, and one between the legs, ensuring your child remains securely in the seat. The harness can be adjusted with one pull.
Safe and easy installation
The Baby-Safe infant carrier can be fitted to both the rear seats and the passenger seat, although it should not be used in the front seat if it has active airbags. It can be secured using the car’s three-point seat belt system or for additional piece of mind, using one of Britax’s Baby-Safe bases, which indicate when everything is installed correctly.
